Information we process
We use your email and Firebase account identifier to create and authenticate your account. Your password passes securely to Google Firebase Authentication; Nocturne does not store it. We store your player name and handle, credits and transactions, game state and fairness records, daily rewards, friends, lounges, messages, activity snapshots, visibility choices, blocks and reports.
Network providers process connection information such as IP addresses and request details to deliver and protect the service. Nocturne uses short-lived hashed IP and email rate-limit records to limit account abuse.
Why we use it
We use this information to sign you in, save progress, settle virtual-credit transactions, deliver requested account emails, operate social features, investigate issues and protect accounts. We do not currently run advertising or analytics SDKs, sell player data, or process credit purchases.
Other players and service providers
Your name, handle and shared lounge messages are visible to relevant players. Your presence and shared game snapshots depend on the social settings you choose. Avoid posting private information in chat. Cloudflare hosts the app and database; Google Firebase provides authentication and account emails. These providers may process information outside your state or country. Their privacy practices also apply to their services.
Cookies and device storage
An essential secure session cookie keeps you signed in for up to one hour. The game uses local device storage for preferences and temporary game or interface state. Your cloud wallet is authoritative. Signing out closes the session; it does not clear every local preference. You can clear local data through your browser or Android app settings.
Your choices and retention
You can change social visibility, reset your password, sign out all devices, or delete your account. We retain active account data to provide the service until deletion. Short-lived rate-limit records are removed during subsequent successful sign-ins.
Deleting your account permanently removes your Nocturne profile, credit balance and ledger, saved games, daily rewards, fairness history, friends, blocks, and your messages and reports. Lounges you host close, including their chat history. Other players’ separate accounts remain.
We keep a limited technical deletion marker (account identifier, deletion status and date) to prevent old requests restoring a deleted account. Hosting-provider backup copies can remain until they rotate out; they are not used for ordinary gameplay. Deletion does not remove copies another player independently saved.
Contact help@nocturnesocialclub.com for access, correction, privacy questions or help deleting an account you cannot access. Applicable privacy rights depend on where you live.
Age and changes
Nocturne is intended for adults aged 18 or over. Do not create an account if you are under 18. Contact us if you believe a child has provided information. We will update this notice before introducing materially different data uses, including advertising or purchases.
